Sony reportedly will launch two flagship smartphones this year. After announcing the Xperia presence Z2, perusaan origin of Sakuras successor will be launched towards the end of 2014.
Reported by Softpedia, Sunday (06/08/2014), the latest report is in line with the statement of the Creative Director of Sony Mobile, Kurozumi Yoshiro, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February. He said that the Xperia Z2 will be Sonys flagship device for the first half of this year.
One of the reasons Sony is planning to launch more than one flagship smartphone of the year is the market share. Sony aims to be the number three smartphone manufacturers in the world, so that competition will be fierce.
Rumors about a successor Z2 is strengthened by l eaked information circulated in cyberspace. XDA developers forum Twitter account that often leak information about the Xperia, DooMLoRD, a source of news.
DooMLoRD in his tweet revealed that the latest whiz smartphone Sony will present in September with a different design.
Z3 Xperia smartphone with this name is said to have a thin bezel with body thinness of 7mm. Unfortunately there is no other information regarding the details of the smartphone specs.
Outside of the Xperia Z3, DooMLoRD also touched on the Xperia Z Ultra. The owner of the account claiming that Sony is not planning to release the successor phablet.
